A formal introduction: Linh, and Linh's Corner
Bonus: The most raw, the most viral, and the most vulnerable blogs in the 30-day challenge
Today, the 30-day blogging challenge ends. I did not finish the challenge; however, I felt happy. Because this blog is alive, thanks to all 145 subscribers ☺️ I appreciate you.
To end this challenge and start a new chapter ahead, I think it is time to make a formal introduction. Welcome!
👋 Hello
My name is Khánh Linh, meaning the bell bringing happiness. It describes me well: I want to bring joy to people around me.
If you are into the 16 personalities test, I am constantly switching between an ESTJ, the “Executive,” and an ESFJ, the “Consul.” This also sums up who I am.
My thoughts and feelings take turn to stay with me, and I make space for both. During the day, I am a Product Manager, tracking metrics, defining the North Star, and getting users’ feedback. At night, I store away my thoughts and let my feelings flow. I love listening to podcasts while cooking, cheesy movies, "board games and tea" nights, and meeting new and old friends
✍️ Why this blog, and what you will see more
I started this blog because I want to share the lessons I learned in the morning, note down my emotions when the night falls, and in a way, combine them both. I also love writing as a kid. The love was set aside so I could focus on academic writing, school, and job. Now is the time the love comes alive again.
Stick around with my blog if these topics resonate with you:
Relationships: Friends, family, and even strangers, always give me love to cherish and thoughts to reflect on. This is the “bell of happiness” in my blog.
Productivity: I always find ways to become a better version of myself every day, and I hope to help you do the same. This is the “Product Manager” in my blog.
Small moments, big impacts: Amidst the busyness of life, I find the small moments precious. Homecooked meals, random calls to friends, a really good book, I want to capture them all. This is the “board games and tea nights” in my blog.
Hope you will join me on this journey to explore relationships, productivity, and tiny-but-big moments in life. Feel free to reach me at linhktran99@gmail.com, and I am excited for us to get to know each other.
As a bonus to celebrate my 30-day blogging challenge*, below are the awards for the blogs I wrote.
🏆 Awards in 30-day writing challenge
Took the shortest time to write: Cơm nhà nói chung là êm
“Sự yêu thương và êm đềm ấy nối từ quá khứ qua đến hiện tại, và mình thấy vui, như mình vừa tìm được một cánh cửa mở ra cho mình những êm đềm đó, khi mà mình cần nó nhất. Thật hay khi một cái chạm lưỡi có thể đưa mình về những hạnh phúc ngay tức khắc đến như vậy.”
Took the longest time to write: If the languages I learned are my friends...
“We grew up together, so I am most comfortable with Vietnamese, and I never have to put a mask on when I am with her.[…]She is the one I always come to when I have something to confide in, and she knows my most authentic self, more than anyone else.”
Most vulnerable to write: A forced long-distance relationship, and self-identity in love
“It teaches us that when we have a sense of freedom in identity, we free the space in our hearts to love.”
Most confident to write: [Part 1: Networking for Students] Why do you need to network?
“The truth is, networking has opened many doors to jobs and relationships for me, but it was not easy and I learned things the hard way.”
Most raw: Ông biết mình yêu ông
“Ít nhất, mình đã ở cùng ông những giây phút mình có thể.”
Most research done: Being an ally, and the story about the man who made period pads
“It is just that we are going nowhere with half the effort. To finally get to the same level of equality for men and women, all have to participate, not just half of the world.”
